HERO is a 100% volunteer, small foster-based rescue committed to doing big things for beagles and hounds in the most need of saving.
Small by design. Big in commitment.
HERO Hound Rescue focuses on dogs who often need more time, more veterinary care or more support than a typical shelter stay can provide — including high-risk medical cases, seniors and hospice pups.
Our foster-based model gives dogs a safe place to recover while volunteers coordinate medical care, transport, training, adoption and community support.
Happy hounds are the goal.
